I have a solution that contains an .xproj project file and the project fails to load with an (Incompatible) tag.

I've tried many times to install DotNetCore.1.0.1-VS2015Tools.Preview2.0.3 and I get a dialog stating that 'The specified account already exists.'

The log states the following 4 times, gives up, and rolls back.

I've tried both the "DotNetCore.1.0.1-VS2015Tools.Preview2.0.3.exe" and from the layout with the same results. I've checked and meet the posted pre-requisites. I've tried uninstalling VS and reinstalling and nothing seems to help.

I can not find any signs of an account that it thinks is already in existence.

This issue is a blocker!

Thank you for posting in MSDN forum.

Recently, I met some community members encountered the .Net Core installation problem, someone solved it by fixit tool, would you mind having a try with it:

1.Download the Windows Fixit tool from:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-sg/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed

2. then run it to repair issues including corrupted registry keys or others. 

3. Restart your machine and run the /layout .Net Core install .exe to run and install it again.

At the same time, please temporary disable your AV software and firewall.

Any problem persists please feel free to tell me.
