Quick question,

Can Sharepoint import Universal Security groups which are mail-enabled but with hideDLMembership attribute is set to TRUE. The service account for the import has been granted explicit read rights on the member attribute of these groups. We see in the AD security logs that the service account queries the group and it's member attribute but we cannot find the group in sharepoint. Is this normal?

Please advice.

SharePoint does not respect that flag with regards to the User Profile Service, if that is what you're asking.
