I have a number of VC++ 2008 Windows Forms Projects created on XP/32 with VS2008 SP1.  I can open and run them on Windows 7/32 installations, but virtually all of my Forms will not open in the Forms Designer.  I get this messsage:

"Either VCProject or VCCCodeModel is not ready yet.  Please close designer and retry again."

I have no problem opening them in Windows XP.  I've tried on two difference computers with Windows 7 Ultimate and Windows 7 Pro.

I've tried dumping the Solution Intellisense file, but that doesn't help.

Any ideas?

Have you tried deleting all Debug and Release folders in your solution, then rebuilding the solution before attempting to open any forms?

Do you have the same issue if you cerate a C# or VB project on XP, then open the project in VS 2008 in Win 7?
