I am new in ASP.NET. I need to support a web application which is using Membership Provider LOGIN control. Web Application is running fine on windows XP
and VS2008. I just copied folder and past it in windows 7 and VS2008. I open web site and build the project successfully.

Problem is that when I enter userID and password in login page it does not work anymore and stays on same page without giving any error.

Please help code project GURU urgent.

I had a similar problem when using the Mysql membership provider just make sure that the database connector in my case the mysql connector being used by the application is the same as that one installed on the windows 7
