I am returning <g class="gr_ gr_135 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_disable_anim_appear Grammar only-ins doubleReplace replaceWithoutSep" data-gr-id="135" id="135">user</g> to Visual Studio after a break of around 2 years. And I have recently downloaded and installed VS 2015 Community version on Windows 7.

There is a unique error and it is that the VS 2015 is launching normally but the IDE is not reacting. And even I am not able to close the IDE using the top right button. When I am trying to close the IDE using Task Manager then this notification has been prompted out.

I have tried several times to launch the VS 2015 but all end up in vain. Furthermore, I have also restarted the Windows and launch the VS2015 again but nothing <g class="gr_ gr_1227 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_run_anim Grammar multiReplace" data-gr-id="1227" id="1227">work</g> out. 

Please help.

Thank you for posting in MSDN forum.

Check if you have installed the Win 7 SP1 first, at the same time, check all the patches and make them to the newest.

From your description, the VS installation didn't carry on well.

How about repairing it from Control Panel?

If this doesn't work, you'd better re-download a VS 2015 With Update 3 ISO to repair your VS first. Use FCIV  to verify the SHA-1 to ensure the ISO is not corrupted. Here are   ISO download websiteand Hash Value Page.  

If error persists, feel free to let me know, using  http://aka.ms/vscollect to gather the installation logs. find vslogs.zip from %temp% folder. upload to  Onedrive and share the link here. I will help you find the root cause according to the log file.
