I have this issue with setup for sdk. I tried to install the SDK on my windows 8.1 machine. I installed the windows 10 SDK.

It installed before , but when i reformatted my hard disk and tried to run fresh install, the SDK keeps failing. I started to wonder what was actually wrong here.

Installation on Windows 8.1 requires KB2999226. To install through Windows Update, make sure you install the latest recommended updates and patches from Microsoft Update before you install the Windows SDK.

另外，请在安装过程中暂时禁用所有AV软件和防火墙.

Also please temporarily disable all the AV software and firewall during the setup.

在这种情况下，可以通过控制面板修改VS来安装Win 10 SDK.

In this situation, you could install the Win 10 SDK from modifying VS via Control Panel.

Or I suggest you perform an offline Win 10 SDK installation to eliminate internet variables.
