Dear all,
No matter what I do, even try creating a new account, the VS Startup dialog shows up that the licence is expired. The main problem
is that when clicking the link for searching does indeed not search but instantly (within milliseconds) returns a negative affirmation.
This might actually have something todo with an errant proxy setting. However turning off the firewall / setting an exception does not change anything.
Additionally I got an error dialog during the installation.
The dialog reads:
The account credentials couldn't be updated.
The argument which was passed is non-serializable.
Parameter name: value
The dialog reads:
The evaluation has expired. Start your session, to extend the evaluation and continue without interruption.
ALso i tried adding screenshots, but I wasn't permitted claiming that the forum account needs to be verified - even though i had it for the longest and utmost verified time.
Does anyone have an idea?

Please try to open IE11 and navigate to https://account.microsoft.com/about
and sign in with your new account, if it is successful, which means the issue is not caused by the account.
If you have not install IE11 or set it as the default browser, after installing it, set as the default browser, add the following sites to your IE trusted site: IE—Internet Options—Security—Trusted Sites, then reopen VS and check this issue again.

If this issue persists, there are some factors that affect the VS sign in, please have a try with the following to troubleshot this issue:
- Run the vs with safe mode: open the VS community 2015 installation location, usually locates C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 14.0\Common7\IDE and run the commands: devenv /safemode. If it works fine that means the installed extensions may be corrupted the VS, please go to Tool—Extensions and Updates… and remove all installed extensions one by one to find the culprit.
- Go to Control Panel-Programs and Features and right click the VS item, Change-Repair to repair VS.
