I'm in a bit of an unfortunate situation. While doing a fresh install of Windows 8 on my development machine, my server which holds my svn repository crashed so I have lost the source code to my WP7 apps.

I was wondering if anyone knew about how to download the .xap files of my apps that I have submitted to the store? I have tried looking around on my development dashboard and it only lists the apps I have submitted, and there is no way for me to actually download the .xap files themselves. I was planning on using the .xap files to recover some of the source code I have lost so I could continue to development my Windows Phone apps.

Your XAP file does not contain the actual source code. If you were to extract the contents of a XAP file you would only find the generated .DLL's any additional files.

The bottom line is that even if you could find a copy of your XAP file you would not be able to recover any of your source code.
