A TAPI 2.0 application running in session 0 on Vista or Server 2008 throws an unknown exception when LineInitializeEx is called.  This same app runs as a service without error on Windows 2000, 2003, and Windows 7.  Does anyone know of a resource that can help us solve this problem and get our TAPI app running as a service on Vista/Server-2008?

Could you please eleborate the unknown exception? According to the documentation, the funciton returns LINEERR_INVALAPPNAME, LINEERR_OPERATIONFAILED, LINEERR_INIFILECORRUPT, LINEERR_INVALPOINTER, LINEERR_REINIT, LINEERR_NOMEM, LINEERR_INVALPARAM for errors. Can you please check the return code?
