Hi.  I hope someone can help. I accidentally deleted the TEAM OWNERS group from my SharePoint site.  I created another group called TEAM OWNERS but either can't figure out or just don't have permission to assign permissions to this new owner group.

I tried going to TEAMSITE/_layouts/permsetup.aspx by get an Access Denied error. And, not surprisingly, there is no TEAMSITE/layouts/groups.aspx to be found.  I have full control permission on higher-level site (XXX/TEAMSITE) but I believe I used special permissions so that TEAMSITE doesn't inherit permissions from XXX.
