I have a strange issue. I have SharePoint 2010 and in a normal custom list, I had deleted three columns. Those columns were also the usual text field. The list did have data but we no longer needed the data in those three columns.

So, after deleting them when I went ahead to create a new Item and clicked on New Item from the ribbon, I get this -

It shows the three columns but without any input fields. I really dont understand why this happening.

That form has been customized. Once customized, they are not automatically updated. You will need to edit the form and delete the unwanted text and rows. Or depending on the nature of the original customization, delete and recreate the form.

如果您不再需要自定义InfoPath，请转到库设置"，表单设置"，然后选择使用默认的SharePoint表单".

If you no longer need the InfoPath customizations, go to Library Settings, Form Settings and select "Use the default SharePoint form".
