我是一位准备退休的老人.我想为我的教堂着手开发Web应用程序，而LightSwitch似乎是一个不错的起点.我所做的开发工作很少，但是我很努力.我的问题， 我应该专注于VB还是C#?  哪种语言拥有更多用户，因为我怀疑我会阅读很多论坛讨论，如果大多数讨论都将重点放在一种或另一种语言上，那么我想在此集中精力.

I am an old man getting ready to retire.  I want to take up development of a web application for my church and LightSwitch seemed like a good place to start.  I have done very little development work but I enjoyed my efforts.  My question, Should I focus on VB or C#?  Which language has more users as I suspect I will be reading lots of Forum discussions and if most of them will be weighted to one or the other language then I want to concentrate my efforts there.

If I were starting from the beginning, I would use C# especially if you are going to develop using the HTML client. The reason I suggest C# is because the syntax difference between JavaScript and C# is much smaller than JavaScript and VB.

如果您具有VB背景(MS Access，Office VBA等)并且仅使用DesktopClient，那么走VB路线可能会更有效.

If you have a VB background (MS Access, Office VBA etc) and you are only using the DesktopClient then it might be more efficient to go the VB route.
