我已经从Microsoft Dreamspark下载了vs 2010 Professional.

Intel(R) Core(TM) i3 CPU M 330 @2.13GHz 2.13GHz
Installed Memory(RAM) : 2.00GB(1.86 GB usable)
Sysytem Type: 64-Bit OS


I have downloaded vs 2010 professional from Microsoft Dreamspark.
When i installing this through .iso it goes smoothly till components installation.
But while installing first component vs 9.0 runtime (x86) it gives me error and whole the setup is aborted.I have tried for 5-10 times but of no use.

Is there any possibility that error occured due to 64-
bit processor?If it is than please suggest me that wheather i can install vs2010 in 64-bit os?Or can i have a setup of vs2010 that runs in 64-bir environment?
Plesae help me out.

What you should try doing is to install VC runtime separately then install VS2010.  to do this, goto the <dvdroot>\wcu\vcruntimes and install the VC9 runtime then launch VS2010.
