I am getting the following error when trying to install VS2005, VS2008, and VS2010 on my Windows 7 computer. I have been able to install SQL Server 2005 and SQL Server 2008.

I suppose that your Windows7 machine is 64-bit, so when you install VS2010, VS2008 and VS2005 on that machine, you need to write some installation information to the c:\program files (x86) folder. However, it is not enough if you only the permissions for that directory. Please give Full permissions to access the C:\ root folder and then re-try the installation.
