I have a little more than a thousand pages currently in Microsoft Word which I need to convert to an Expression Web site.  When I simply copy the text from Word to Expression Web, the result is code that only a mother could love.  The major difficulty seems to be that Microsoft Word has an internal style sheet including styles like Mso-Normal - they all seem to start with Mso.  Does anyone out there have a copy, reasonable facsimile, unreasonable attempt at one of such a css file?  Footnotes alone are a major problem.  And since these styles are undefined, you wind up applying others on top of them.  The only solution I've found so far is to transfer plain text and reformat the entire thing - a process that takes about half an hour to an hour per page.  I've looked on the web for such a css file; what I find are a lot of complaints about the same thing with a recommendation like, "just retype the whole thing in Dreamweaver."
