Hello,

          I have a variety of different excel reports that are updated all day, everyday.  Our goal is to display our current metrics on an lcd or projector on a wall in our production area.  Is it possible to create a webpage in Expression Web 4 or a wpf application perhaps in Expression Blend that will display real-time data from these excel workbooks?  Everytime the data in the workbook changes, I would like it to be reflected on my web page.  Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction?  Thank you.

P.S. - I do not want to save the Excel workbook as an html and just use the auto republish feature.

Save the spreadsheet as a csv file. Then publish that file to your web site. Have a script, either C#.NET or PHP that uses that file to present what you want on your web page. 

Once the script is in place all you need to do occasionally is a save as MySpreadsheet.csv and use an ftp program to publish it to your web site and the site will be updated.

If these two steps are too much trouble you could write a Windows PowerShell script that would open the spreadsheet save it as a *.csv file and ftp it to your web site. Place the PowerShell as a desktop icon then all you have to do is click the icon on your desktop when you want to update your site.
