I am working vin s 2010. I launch the wcf solution in one instance of visual studio and get the debugger running. Then when I try to launch a silverlight solution in another instance of visual, i get the error "Unable to attach. A debugger is already".

Do you mean that you are using the "Attach to Process" locally like here?
