I am trying to write a game launcher that will read the last 5 twitter posts of a particular account, the trouble I''m running into is I don''t understand why reading public twitter posts is so damn hard.

So I''m asking for someone to show me how to read a public twitter post without having to login. I tried reading the dev section of twitter and it made my head swim. So a if you could direct me to a super easy demo or article for stupid people like me that would be awesome!
