I recently upgraded from Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit to Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. After the upgrade, Microsoft Outlook 2007 stopped connecting to my mail servers. I have both Pop3 and IMAP accounts configured. The error message states that it can't find the servers and that it can't connect to the IMAP server. I tried installing Thunderbird, but that did not work either. Finally, I tried installing an unsupported 64-bit version of Thunderbird (Shredder) and that worked. I also installed the Microsoft Windows Live Mail program and that works. Why is the networking screwed up for those two mail programs and nothing else?
