Hi,

Does anybody here know how to resolve this issue? I already did the following:


• vista updated to SP2, all system updates have been downloaded and installed
• uninstalled any anti-virus
• ran diagnostics and chkdsk and everything is working fine
• ran win7 upgrade advisor and results indicate that system and hardware meets all compatibility requirements
• bought a retail win7 home premium upgrade pack
• installed the upgrade and it stopped in the middle
