I created a new SQL server database project. Project got added. I right clicked on project and said "Import" to import a database.

In the Import tab I cliked on "New Connection" where I want to add server name and database name to map. During this process I get an error- "The type initializer for 'Microsoft.VisualStudio.Data.Tools.Design.Core.Common.SqlClient.SqlUtils' threw an exception.".  Could you please suggest.

What version of VS you are running? Do you have right to the DB objects that you need?
