I recently purchased a laptop and not knowing that Works 9.0 was installed on it, I installed my 8.5 that I had to buy because it was not included on my Vista PC.  The laptop has Windows 7 on it.

So I uninstalled 8.5 and now my documents won't open in Works 9.0. It keeps saying the files are corrupt.  I had copied all of my spreadsheet files and word processing files onto the laptop.

Shouldn't the files be compatible with both versions?

I can go to the Launcher in 9.0 and open the files but if I go into my Documents I get the file is corrupt message when I try to open it.

What a mess.  Would sure appreciate some help on this.
