My automated scripts are also timing out, even after I've set every timeout setting I can find to 7.5 hours (test settings in lab Center as you've shown here, .testsettings file in Visual Studio).

If I start the test manually (i.e. I physically click 'Run' in MTM) the test runs to completion and takes about 2 hours. If I start the test using tcm.exe it times out after 30 mins (which means my nightly CI tests aren't working).

There is no an additional timeout setting in tcm.exe. We specify the timeout for a test run in a test setting in Visual Studio or MTM.

TCM.exe has an optional command: /settingsname:name which specifies the test settings that you want to use for this test run. If you do not select test settings with this parameter, the default test settings for automated tests in the test plan is used.
