I am facing an issue while creating custom workflow activity in SharePoint 2016 using Visual Studio as a Farm solution. The workflow activity was deployed successfully and I am able to view it inside the Sharepoint designer workflow. The workflow is set to be started on item creation.

When the item is created, the workflow gets triggered and workflow status is shown as Error Occurred and message shown is "The error occurred in the workflow". When trying to debug the code doesn't hit the server side code.
