我应该在网页上将Defualt提供程序设置为什么?

What should I set the Defualt provider to on my web page?
I want to create a .aspx page so clients can log into the site to retrive data. but when i went to configure it said the provide wasnt availible. So I went to IIS and just randomly typed my name as provider. Well that got me on the configureation to say that the provider wasnt working but it at least got me to a different screen. What Do I need to Do to get the role provider up so I can set up user logins. I am using windows web developer 2005.
