Hi,

We have a large physical server with half of it shared between 3 VMs that are managed by Hyper-V (Windows Server 2012).  One of these VM's acts as the domain controller.  What I would like to do is set up an Azure VM that I can 'join' or 'make part' our current Domain which will be also controlled by our current domains Active Directory?

All you need to do is configure your network to communicate with the Virtual network in Azure. From there joining a VM to your on prem domain would be the same process as joining a on prem VM to your network
