The answer is given above is nonsensical.

We are a large enterprise shop, and are waiting on using 4.6 for development until it releases via WSUS.

Sorry it seems your another thread was not replied properly. However it seems communities in this forum also don't know the answer of your question. The question is about when the .NET 4.6 will be released via WSUS. I think a better way is to consult WSUS team directly or .NET Framework team directly. For example, you can consult this question on their official blog:http://blogs.technet.com/b/wsus/ or http://blogs.msdn.com/b/dotnet/

Or I think you can consult this directly to Microsoft https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/contactus

But personally I think this question is a feature request. But it seems I cannot find a place for you to submit this request.
