Looks like your post got moved here from the 'Home Server' forums.
First thing I would note is that WSUS is not supported for installation on Home Server. It requires Standard Edition or greater.
However, having said that, the above error has been encountered several times in the past 48 hours, and appears to be caused by some back-end reconfiguration done in the MU/WSUS synchronization environment -- perhaps even done ahead of schedule.
What we have found to remediate this issue is the following:
- Cancel out of the WSUS setup wizard.
- Install KB2734608 to the WSUS Server.
- Restart the WSUS setup wizard.
