Please note that my users are not able to start workflow as they cannot view the 'Approve' workflow name [Refer to attached screenshot]. The 'Edit Items' permission has been given to users.

Whether you create the workflow with the default Approval-SharePoint 2010 reusable workflow template in UI?

If so, make sure you have unchecked the "Require Manage Lists Permissions to start the workflow" under the Start Options section when create the workflow.
