Hi,

I tried installing VS 2008 SP1 to see if it might resolve an issue that I was having.  Instead, I was no longer able to complete the build of my WPF application because of an error having something to do with finding the assembly's XmlSerializers.dll.  Anyway, after spending much time trying to get back to where I started i.e. no SP1, I'm unable to build any of the projects within my 3.0 solution because VS 2008 is pointing to the 3.5 Common.targets file:

C:\ WINDOWS \ Microsoft.NET \ Framework \ v3.5 \ Microsoft.Common.targets(1371， 13):错误MSB4064: "IgnoreDefaultInstalledAssemblySubsetTables"参数"ResolveAssemblyReference"不支持该参数.任务.验证参数是否存在于任务中，并且它是可设置的公共实例属性.

C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v3.5\Microsoft.Common.targets(1371,13): error MSB4064: The "IgnoreDefaultInstalledAssemblySubsetTables" parameter is not supported by the "ResolveAssemblyReference" task. Verify the parameter exists on the task, and it is a settable public instance property.

C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v3.5\Microsoft.Common.targets(1353,9): error MSB4063: The "ResolveAssemblyReference" task could not be initialized with its input parameters.

I've used System Restore to return to the day before the SP1 install.  When that didn't work, I uninstalled VS 2008 and reinstalled it.  Same errors.

Attempts to uninstall .Net Framework 3.5 have failed: "A problem has been encountered while loading the setup components. Canceling setup."  Gotta love those helpful error messages.
 
Creating any new 2.0 or 3.0 project has the same results.

I don't know where else to look.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
