  SP2013.SPD 2013工作流附加到InfoPath库.工作流设置为在创建新项目时触发.表单有两种运行方式.

  SP2013.. SPD 2013 Workflow attached to an InfoPath library.. The workflow is set to fire upon new item creation. There are 2 ways the form can function..

  1: manual item number field.. The user sets a field to "manual" and types in the item number by itself.. The first time the form is submitted the form is closed after.. In this mode the workflow works completely normally..

  2: auto item number field.. The users sets a field to "auto" and hits a button.. The form retrieves a datasource that contains a list of defined item numbers, grabs the top 1 adds 1 to it and uses that as the new item, then the form submits to sharepoint to "reserve" the item number, the form stays open for further information gathering..  In this mode the workflow fails.. It gets stuck in starting then gets pushed to suspended, always in the first stage.. The info bubble has this for an error..

Any thoughts as to how to make this work?? Either find a way to stop the workflow during the reservation submission or something like that..

Hi Joe- what is the number field for? Does it change the name of the item? If not, then it sounds like SPD doesn't have access to the data connection?
