We're using Exclaimer Outlook Photos to "inject" photos that our HR group takes into AD. The idea being Exchange and Sharepoint should pick up on those photos and use them for the Person Pane and User Profiles. However, we're running into issues.

Issue one, we don't know how long each process takes. I'm assuming the software changes the AD datastore immediately and the thumbnailPhoto attribute changes along with it. I don't understand a lot of the process and most of the time it seems to resolve itself after 24-36 hours without help.

Issue two, we have one instance of a user's photo not showing up, so we go into CA and manually upload a photo into the user profile. We're on the farm account on the server in CA, and the profile server has that account listed. When we do, it changes the profile for another user. So now user A and B have the same photo. If we go into user B and change it, they both have the same photo again, as though they're linked.

Issue three, I'm getting errors when trying to run the update-spprofilephotostore command. In the past I've been able to resolve most of these issues with this, but it's saying it doesn't recognize that as a cmdlet.
