I have a .net remoting solution configured for 'all cpu' using .net 3.5 that runs properly on all combinations of machines and .net framework.  For example, it runs fine on a Win7 x64 machine running .net 4.0.

I built the solution and changed the configuration to target .net 4.0.  This app runs fine on win xp, win server 2008 machines but will not open on a win7 x64 machine.  I've turned off the firewall and tried to manually set folder rights, but no help.  The only error message I can get is from my app stating that it cannot connect to the internet.  Windows gives no messages of any kind and there are no events in the event viewer.
