We have completed all the steps to sign up for the Azure non-profit credit. In the NGO portal, we can see a balance of $3,500 against the tenancy and we can access the Azure portal itself. It also shows the following: "Claimed. The $3500 (USD) credit has already been applied to your organization's Azure account by [email address]." My understanding, therefore, is that the enrolment process has been fully completed and that the credits are ready to use.

However, we cannot see any subscription under Cost management + Billing - Subscriptions. This displays a message: 'You don't have any subscriptions in the current directory."

The question is: has the credit actually been applied to the Azure account? Hoiw can we tell? We do not want to consume services, then discover that they are not covered by the Azure credit scheme.

Sponsorship credits are applied at account level. All you need to do is, go to accounts portal - http://account.windowsazure.com/subscription and create a sponsorship subscription. If the account is verified and the subscription is activated with credits, you should be good to start using it. You would have received an email with instructions to even create a sponsorship subscription :)
