Good day! Is it possible to install OCR only even without MS Office Applications installed on my machine? bacause I really need OCR for my application written in vb.net 2003. On the machines with MS Office 2003, it works fine but when I installed the application on my server, I can't preview the contents on my file like .docx, .xlsx, .pptx and .pdf files. Please help me.. :(

解决方案

OCR is not something only from ms office, it is very old even from before the time ms Office did exist. 

You need to search on Internet for a solution for your problem which fits you. Be aware OCR is natural language dependend.
