I have a document library where I need to modify a view to only show items/documents that have been last modified within the last two years.

I have tried a filter like "Modified (Indexed column) is greater than [Today]-730. This doesn't work. If I do 365 instead of 730, it works just fine.

I guess there's a limit on how big that number can be..?

You've done this via a view?  If you try that formula in a calculated column, return as a date and then sort ascending, do you also find that this doesn't work?
