Hey everyone,

Currently I'm working on designing a SharePoint page for the HR department. The idea behind this is that the HR department can view everyone's profile, while the user itself can only view it's own profile. So the employee can only access his own page, but the manager can view the employees he is managing.

In Microsoft Delve(and our AD), the permission is already set to which manager belongs to which employee. Right now I have a javascript that loads which user is viewing the page(Loading data from the SharePoint Profile), but I haven't found a way to load the data from the SharePoint Profile so that a javascript is able to give a manager access to multiple users.

Would this be possible to do?

Hi,

SharePoint provides such feature by design.

Whether users can access SharePoint page depends on the users’ permissions for this page.

You can select the page in page library, click "Shared with" button in ribbon, click ADVANCED, click Stop Inheriting Permissions, grant different permissions to any users.
