Good morning all
I have a question
My client works with the US Legal and security services and asked me to build him a website - he works in Europe only for them
Pretty boring website really with no exciting dynamic content just information et al
But one of the areas he has now asked me to build is a login for his clients
As he is a videographer working in depositions, he records those events, then uploads via FTP onto wordpress (current website) where his clients use a link he sends them, (they login via username and password) and then access and download their files
I have built his site on WIX it was cheaper, but they do not allow FTP at all so i now need to integrate some sort of dashboard where his clients can login and download files
The current situation is not working
He is getting busier and the clients need to access and download the files (only limited to one file at a time) so this is a problem, also files are limited to 2gb max - so this current situation is not acceptable
So the files are between 3-5GB each and they have on average 20 files per week
They need a page to login and download numerous files at the same time and can also leave those files there for up to 6 months securely if needed

Hi Mike,
In SharePoint 2010, the default maximum file size is 50 MB. And you can increase it to 2 GB. The maximum upload file size cannot be increased beyond 2gb. It is limited in SharePoint 2010.

You could consider compressing the video files or splitting one lager file into some small files.
