Hi folks,

So I created a custom workflow and used the "Start a task process" action and need some help in how to collect the feedback provided by the individuals.

• Individual tasks were created and assigned to multiple people who are working in parallel.
• They will fill out a comments field and click approve button
• Once all individuals complete their tasks the process ends and sets an Outcome variable to approved

Now is there a way to "collect" everyone's individual comments and copy them to a master task in a different list?

Note: other steps in this workflow update the master task already with other info.

S I can't add actions into the middle of the "start a task process" to copy them as each task is completed, I need to wait til the action is complete, then copy them. I'm assuming some sort of loop is needed but not sure how to identify these specific tasks to go back and grab the info.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

For your request to collect the comments from each approver and update another master task list item with the comments as each task is completed, I suggest you creating a new workflow in the task list which start workflow automatically when an item created.

In the list, when we start a workflow which include "start a task process" action, it will create a new item in task list for each approval task, so we can create a new workflow in the task list which start automatically. In this new workflow, add "create list item" action and set the column value in the master task list with the value of comments column in this task list.
