Hi Team,

I have the azure trail subscription  for a month and trying to create an on demand HD Insight cluster.

However, i am unable to create using the "Azure data lake storage " storage as it is giving on "Azure sto rage " by default.

Same is the case while creating a normal HD Insight cluster (not the on demand type). In the storage drop down, only azure blob storage appears and ADLS storage option is disabled.

I have browsed through related articles and found that HDInsight with ADLS storage is supported only recently ( in the versions after 3.4)

I want ADLS storage to be used as the primary storage for either on demand or normal cluster.
Please suggest... Thanks in advance

I was just able to launch a test HDI cluster with ADLS as primary storage.  Make sure you are spinning up the HDI cluster in the same region your ADLS account resides in.  If you are already doing this, what region are you attempting to launch in?
