Hi,

we have created share point calendar to save  the Tour request(s).  we are able to synchronize sharepoint calendar with outlook calendar functionality is working as expected (both are showing side by side).

The problem here is all the entries  in the SP calendar entries are synchronizing to outlook calendar ,  we want only sharepoint calendar entries  created by/ Assigned to me should show in synchronized outlook calendar.

essentially sharepoint View  [Assigned To = Me]  should be synchronized with outlook calendar.

could you please let me know can this be achieved.

Hi Patil,

Outlook does not understand the filters in the list view. To achieve that, we need to set unique permissions for each item based on Create By/Assigned To. So that, the user can only view the items which he has permission in Outlook calendar view.

If you only want to sync items which are created by the current user, specify the current user can only read the items that were created by himself.

If you want to sync items which are assigned to current user, you may need to create a workflow to set unique permissions for the item when the item is created/modified.

Another workaround, we can change view and set filters in the view in the Outlook.
