I host SharePoint 2013 sites for a handful of clients, mostly educational, but important to me and my associates.  The basic config look like this:

In order for the sites to work I ensure that I've created a valid A Record on the external DNS server which points to the public IP Address of my ADSL Router.  It, in turn, has a NAT installed that forwards all port requests to SharePoint if it is web based. The SharePoint box is a VM running under Hyper V on a Windows 2012 Std box. DNS is running on a DC with the appropriate reverse look-up DNS entries. A record for the subdomain (eg. Client1) is created on the DC box, which is a VM.  The bindings for the client's site are edited to point at the alias of Clientx.MyDomain.Com:80 so that the default port 80 can be reused for every client.

The problem is that recently some of the newer A-Records are being blocked.  I test for port opened status using https://networkappers.com/tools/open-port-checker. The configuration for the sub-domains that work are identical to the ones that don't.  The Port Checker reports some of my newer aliases as blocked.  I've turned off all firewalls and disabled all antivirus apps.
