Hi Microsoft SharePoint Forum,

I am able to download and install successfully Microsoft Visual Studio Tools for Applications 2012 at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=38807.  However, when I attempt to click on the code editor Icon on the Developer tab within InfoPath Designer 2013, I seen the following pop-up window:

The download link in the pop-up window above points to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=38807.

I have uninstalled and re-installed the software several times successfully but it does not interface with InfoPath Designer 2013.

Any advice in getting these two applications to work with one another would be helpful.

You also need to install Visual Studio 2012. With Visual Studio 2012 and the Microsoft Visual Studio Tools for Applications 2012 add-on installed, you are ready to start to develop InfoPath managed code solutions.
