I have a problem. I have developed several desktop applications that involve Excel automation, and I am pretty aware of how to add Office Library References, create Excel objects, etc. Now, I am developing a SmartDevice application that will run in a CellPhone with Windows Mobile 6.1, and I want to read from an Excel file that will reside in the phone. The problem is, when I try to add a reference to the Microsoft Office Library, it doesn’t exist in the COM Reference List. How can I make this Library available?

I am using Visual Basic in Visual Studio 2008.

Can someone help me?

The dlls you are using for excel automation are only for the desktop version, you cannot use them for mobile applications.

As far as I know Microsoft has not released mobile automation tools yet.
