我基本上在项目中使用mdb文件作为本地数据库来存储需要显示在前端的记录.这些记录在登录到应用程序时下载.在此之前，我使用compactdb方法压缩mdb文件.

几天以来，我的客户开始观察到mdb文件的大小达到了30-60 Mb的水平，而以前只能达到10-12 Mb的最大值.由于数据的大小和数量仍然保持不变，并且未将任何内容添加到mdb文件，因此我们无法确定导致此问题的原因.
一旦应用程序由于compactdb而重新启动，它通常会恢复其原始大小(2-3 Mb)，并且在此期间可以正常工作，然后逐渐变大.

在2-3个系统中只能观察到此异常，而其他系统则可以正常工作，因为大小永远不会超过10 Mb.
是否存在导致此问题的某些系统/环境变量/问题或需要完成的编码..

Hi,
I am using a mdb file as my local database in my project basically to store records which needed to display at front end.. these records get downloaded at the time of login to the application. Before that i am using compactdb method to compress the mdb file.

Since few days my clients started observing that size of mdb file reaching to a level of 30-60 Mb which was previously only to 10-12 Mb max. Since the data still remains the same in size & quantity & nothing has been added to the mdb file, we are unable to determine the cause of this issue.

Once the application gets restarted due to compactdb it regains its original size usually (2-3 Mb)& work correctly for that time, which again gradually gets bigger.

This anomaly is been observed with 2-3 systems only for others its working perfectly as size never gets more than 10 Mb.
Is there some system/environmental variables/issues causing this or some coding needed to be done..

Access databases do get bigger as you use them - that can include updates as well as inserts.
The best solution is to establish a regular system of compacting them: perhaps every Monday morning?
