I have a requirement to build an external front end for our agency to be able to upload documents, copy the link, email it to the requestor and when they click on the link it will ask them to save the file to what ever location they choose.

I figured the best way was to leverage the extranet for sharepoint. For the most part all is working the well except forcing the link to be a download link.

Any suggestions on how I can do this. Keep in mind I am using SharePoint Online.
