Hi, In my website i have to attach a bank form in word document. When user clicks on that bank form it should be downloaded to user and the word document must be read only.

Why must it be a word doc ? I don''t think they CAN be read only. Why not use a PDF ? The actually attaching of a file to be downloaded in your site is easy, the obvious way to do it is to link to a page that generates the document for the current user and writes it back as a file for download.

The other thing is, I''m sure this is just homework, but, in the real world, more people can open PDFs than Word docs.
