I am having an issue with importing JSON files from Azure Blob Storage into Azure SQL. I can follow these instructions (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/relational-databases/import-export/examples-of-bulk-access-to-data-in-azure-blob-storage?view=sql-server-2017
…) and it works fine until I add a virtual network to the Storage Account. The virtual network has both SQL and Storage Endpoint services enabled on the same subnet. Not sure why it fails. The error is: Msg 4861, Level 16, State 1, Line 37
Cannot bulk load because the file "integrate/units.json" could not be opened. Operating system error code 5(Access is denied.). When I remove the virtual network from the storage account it works fine again. Something is amiss and I cannot figure
out what?
