I applied "Only Me" to be the the Default privacy settings for "Past projects", "Schools" and addition to a new profile property I have added in the User Profile Properties. I opend my site and editing my profile. I still see "Everyone" as the default for these properties.

I assume that setting the property to be "Only Me" will NOT make the entered values of the property be available in search results. Is this correct?

Does the change to the setting only applies to new mysite profiles? My mysite was created before the change was done in User Profiles.
