i have a problem with PowerPoint documents linked to each other on a SharePoint site. SharePoint is on premises so the URL is in the intranet sites of IE and if i just want to open the document i don't get a warning.

Just if i select the links in the PowerPoint to other files i get this warning.

I found the possiblity to add the site to trusted sites and activate the automatic logon user/password. Which is in my opinion a big security gap.

Also i found the possibility to turn the warning off. For all hyperlinks. This is also not a solution for me. Because the warning can be helpful.

Is it possible to tweak the intranet zone to stop this warning or a registry key for office that disable the checks only for some URLs?

Hi Stephan- I don't believe that it's a big security gap if you only allow that setting on your intranet zone. Either way, someone would have to hack your network to gain access. I don't know a way to limit it to certain URLs, because there are too many URLs you'd have to eliminate to make that work.
